I’m an administrative assistant at a non-profit Head Start program in northern Alberta, Canada. By day, I keep things running smoothly in the office and even step into childcare roles when needed, thanks to my Level 1 certificate. But by night (and on weekends), I dive headfirst into my passion: crafting and DIY projects that bring creativity to life!

Halloween is my absolute favorite time of year, and I go all out by designing and making my own costumes. There’s just something magical about taking an idea and transforming it into something tangible. I’m a big believer in repurposing, finding beauty in the ordinary, and creating unique treasures out of everyday items.

My love of creativity is matched by my love for the great outdoors—classic traits of living in the heart of northern Alberta! I’m passionate about turning tiny seeds into delicious homegrown veggies and finding creative ways to celebrate the harvest. From crafting decorative garden markers to turning freshly picked produce into jarred masterpieces, I love blending my green thumb with hands-on projects. For me, gardening and crafting go hand in hand—they’re both about nurturing something from scratch and adding a personal touch along the way.

At home, I share my life with my incredible husband of nearly two decades, who always supports my creative adventures and cheers me on every step of the way. When I’m not crafting or spending quality time with family, I’m channeling my inner diva at karaoke nights, belting out everything from old-school classics to guilty-pleasure pop hits. I love hosting friends for cozy get-togethers filled with laughter, good food, and maybe a cocktail or two. You’ll often find me experimenting in the kitchen, dreaming up new recipes, or putting a fresh twist on old favorites. Whether it’s baking a batch of cookies or whipping up a homemade dinner, cooking brings me just as much joy as crafting and connecting with loved ones.
